Snow White(ACT IN A PERFORMANCE)

Our class, 10C performed a play SNOW WHITE on GCA Art Festival in December. Almost everyone in our class performed in this play. The director was Abby. I pretended a voice actor and I really like it.

I acted in all the characteristic when I was in Middle School, so this time I want to try a new kind of actor. It was my first time so I prepared it for a long time. Most of time I just go over the same lines over and over again. It was difficult but I really enjoy it.

At first, I felt a bit nervous but I control myself to do my best to calm down. Oh! It's my turn! I think for a while and read the paper loudly. Yes I did it! I felt so successful that I've never down before. After this, I kown that to be a voice actor is more difficult than other kinds actors because there is not allowed to make any mistakes at all.

After the end of the show, everyone cheer up for us and we kown we were succssful. I really thankful to all the actors in Class-C, they give me the hope and help to calm down. Finally, I finished the performance with 10C. We played a wonderful game on Art Festival.

Church!!

It was my first time to church. I was very excited to go to there. I went to there lonely because all the other students had gone to here before. It was a Saturday, I never get up early on Saturdays. I get up at 7 o'colck and go to there immediately. There lots of people singing songs in the church and it really sounds great. I am very interested in religion things and really want to kown what the religious do all day. I walked into the church and saw a lot of people in the room.

Everyone has the same impression on their faces. They hand books and looked at, singing and singing. When I want to take some pictures, but a man came to me and told me that I can not take pictures in the church, so I just took some outside of the church.

The church was located at Mo Chou Lu, it is an old church. It is Roman Catholicism. This church is the only Roman Catholicism church in Nanjing, so I choose to go to there.

In fact, I feel a little boring because the people in here always sing songs or do nothing eles. I am not very understand this religion because no one tell me this before. It is so different with Buddhism.Those who study the origins of Christianity has always faced the question: whether the history of Jesus there is a person? Denied that Jesus is indeed the person holding the scholars about the following views: (1) Christian myth that Jesus is only a idol. (2) Jesus is the wrong figure legends. Now I find something intereting and kown more about the Roman Catholicism.

The concert in Nanjing--TVXQ's..

On 4th Apr I went to Ao Ti with some of my classmates to see TVXQ's 3rd concert "Mirotic". I love TVXQ for a long time and was very excited to see the concert. At usual, I like to listen the music from them. It"s so good that make me happy all the day. When you listen the music from them, you will get very excited. The most important reason I choose this concert to watch is they came here seldom.

It is a chance to listen the music not from the MP3, I love this kind of feeling. I still remember
the day I went to there. There were a lot of people. It was obviously that TVXQ has a lot of fans. Of course I am one of them.

First, thay just sang for some normal songs, it make us can not waited for the best songs they have.

We waited and waited, at last they finally sang the best songs. We are very excited to hear that. All the fans sceram loud enough to weak the dead.

In the end, on the way home, I thought about them. Why they are so succesful? Why they have so many fans? The answer is"They worked hard than other singers." Yes, that's right. No matter waht things you've done, you must work hard and can be succesful.

Volunteer work (2)

Today is a speacial day for me. I came to JInling Library with Oliver, Tim, Victor. We organized some books and cleaned the reading rooms. It was so hard to do this job, all the books are unregulary. I realized that I was wrong I didn"t put the books to original place. The books are so messy that we took 10 hours organize it.

At rest time, we read some books and were very surprised to see so many diffrerent kind s of books here. It"s amazing. The books I can not see at usual can be saw today.
Our goal was organize 1000 books. We organize 100 books per hour, each people organize 20 books per hour. Because of the hugh reading room, so it was difficult to find a book. I ask the worker to teach me how to do it qiuckly. He told me that I should do things carefully and have a good memory.

The books are messy. When you saw a book, you shuold take care of it and when you see the similar book, the first impression of the book will tell you where should you to put.
I really enjoy this volunnteer work. It ont only gave us the experience of a volunteer, but also le t me kown how to be a good library worker.

A special lunch with my friends.

After going to the Nanjing Museum, we came to the Italian resturant. It is a good place to kown more about the culture of Italian and the sepcial type of the food from abroad. We love the food here. It give s a brand new experience about the European Stlye Food. I still remember the days I was in England. There was a chance to taste different kinds of food . I ate the Italian spagettie in a Italian resturant. It gave me a deep impression and I felt so delisious that I have ever eaten.

When I back to China I always thought about the noodles there, because there is no noodles can taste better than the food in there.

Today I have a chance to enjoy the Italian food agian, I will compare the difference between the food there and in England. I order the same spagetti which has bacons and eggs in it. Although the food here is more expensive, but I still think the food in England is more real. It is very good about it, but is not better than it in England.

The visit to NanJing Museum

Last Sunday, I went to NanJing Museum with my friends. There are 6 people in the group. Tim, Chris, Oliver, Victor, Paul and me. They all love the visit about it. It gives us a lot of thoughts and kownladge. Not only learned the history about Nanjing, but also saw some presious things which were made long time ago.

These pictures are the things I love most. The one on the left is a box which sculptured by 5 people in Qing dynasty. On the top of the box, there are a lot of characteristics. Some of them are playing games, the others are doing things to produce jades. It is so difficult to sculpture this box. It is unbelieveable. I love it. The right thing is a Jade made by special meterials. Its coulour is very special and beutiful. It is the most beautiful Jade I have ever seen.

Chinese jade, eight thousand years long history of human civilization in the history of the river play an important role. Elder jade cong Choi sets, ax ax gallop; Medieval jade Change seek unity, innovation; modern jade, carry forward the tradition, and the world's cultural integration. Nanjing Museum jade gallery to time for the line, exhibited a total of more than 600 pieces of exquisite jade, viewers know rich jade culture to provide a platform. Here, viewers can enjoy unearthed ancient jade ornaments, the court handed down luxury goods and so on. Ancient Calligraphy Museum Nanjing Museum as a special exhibition hall, from time to time exhibited the characteristics of each period paintings, including four monks Qing Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition, Jinling exhibition of paintings and so on . I love the exhibitiong here. Treasures from the Museum of Art is located in a layer of the Nanjing Museum of Art Museum is the museum's highest, exhibits many homes for me a cultural heritage and national treasure. Time is also the spirit and symbol of social progress.

Then I saw the exhibition of Wu WeiShan. I have seen his product before, and at this time, I felt more surprise. Wu Weu Shan Chinese sculpture has become an important symbol of contemporary culture.

Volunteer

Volunteer work is simply to engage in public welfare activities. Social life is very complicated, and in some cases, people will feel that they are facing difficulties, not only do not rely on government, not by the market, but also do not rely on the existing relationship between the social contract, in which case, there will be Some people with a good heart and in their spare time to help others to resolve some difficulties, or for the community to do something the government can not attend, the market do not matter. These people are volunteers.I have took part in Vlounteer Club for three years. I entered GCA's Vlounteer Club this term. I love this club, it can make us inovle the social directely. It can help people thich need help. For instance, there are blinds in Blind School and we will play with them and bring some happy things to them. When I am six I always dreamed to become a volunteer, and now the dream come true. The most important thing for a volunteer is a love heart which you own all the time.

I still remember that I did volunteer work for Mrs.Mistchrich. It was Sunday. My school friends and I painted a lot of papers. These papers were prepared for the show of GCA. I was very happy to do this thing because it can help the actors to have a better show. In this process I learned how important a volunteer is. It is not only can improve our painting skills, but also can help other people. I love it!

I still remember there are a lot of people want to become the volunteer of the Olympic Games. The presidents from abroad were very surprise about it. The reason is they do not kown why so many Chinese love to become volunteer. Some people think that volunteers have no reward and can not earn any money. But I think they are wrong. I think that they have the biggest reward. It is better than anything. It is thankful. When help someone, they always feel very thankful for you. That is the most improtant thing in the world. The world needs love. The world needs volunteers. I believe I can be a volunteer all the time.

Physical activity

I have 21 hours activity time for soccer club.I love sprots and I am good at it. I got 99.7 in trem 2 and it is the highest mark in Class C. I spend 1 hour doing the sports activities everyday. I like playing soccer. When I am running on the soccer field, I feel so satisfied and relaxed. Except soccer, I also climbed the Zijin Mountain, played basketball and went jogging with my friends.

One day in the winter vacation, my old classmates and I played soccer. This sports activity is our favorite. We always kicked when we was juniors. I practice a lot in the winter vacation. I want to have a better skill than before. Every time we play a macth or practice, I always help my team win the game.

I still remember that a match between GCA'students and teachers. We lost the game. Is because the experience of the teachers more than ours, we do not have to play out our strengths.

During the whole winter vacation I realized one important thing that soccer is not only a game, but it is a sport which make all the people work as a team. I kown that the most exciting thing in the match is not when you have scored a goal. It is the time you pass a perfect ball to your team player and he scored. All the people enjoy the excitement when you scored the gaols because thousands of fans will cheer you up. Then you can choose the cheering action you like. Someone shouted, someone stand on this head, someone even take off his shrits, but it will make you receive a yellow card by magistrates. In the beginning of the winter vacation, I climbed Zijin Mountain with my classmates. We have climbed the mountain in the first term in Mr. Harris’s classes, so it was not difficult for me. We walk along the road and enjoy the view of beauty. The sunshine was through the vacancies between two leaves. It was very relaxed after climbing the mountain. I very much enjoy the mountain. All this make I recognize that sports can bring not only a healthy body, there is joy. Sports competition for the time for all of us learn to unity, which we also grow up to lay a firm foundation. I love football, I love sports.

Clubs

Before I went to GCA, I always dreamed about going to the clubs in GCA because there are a lot of kinds of clubs. This trem, my dream came ture. I entered three clubs and I really enjoyed these clubs. There are TV show club, Soccer Club and Volunteer club . It is so exciting. Every week I should go to the club after school. The TV club is on Tuesday, the soccer club is on Thuesday and the Volunteer club is on Sunday afternoon. I want to say that clubs can develope our different skills. So that we become all-round development of students.

Different clubs give me different feeling. I have learned many things about TV this term and I felt proud about it. My favourate club is soccer club. In this club I knew how to work as a team and I reaelized why soccer is the most popular sport in the world. It is n ot only a game but it is a way tocommunicate with other people. The moment you feel proud in the maych is not when you have scored a goal, it is assists. When you pass a perfect ball to your team player and he scored, you will become the main character. Everyone will cherr you two up.Volunteer club is also very interesting. We always went to Blind School and play with the children there. This can make us happy all the day, I wiil miss them even all the week. I still remember the days there clearly.

In the end, I really want to say that I love GCA, especially the clubs here. You can make new friends, kown more students in clubs. We are excited when we kown each other. I still remember in soccer club that Mr.Penny told me that if I want to become the leader of the football team, I should practice harder than anyone. Then I kown I should work hard if I want to become better than other people. Sunshine always after rain storm.

We went to Wu Weishan's sculpture exhibition on november,the sculpture arts is being shown.This arts are very wonderful.The artwork made by one artist,deep admiration for Mr.Wu. His artwork both traditional and contemporary.
My favourite atrwork is "Lao zi".Laozi is the name of a legendary Daoist philosopher, the alternate title of the early Chinese text better known in the West as the Daodejing, and the moniker of a deity in the pantheon of organized “religious Daoism” that arose during the later Han dynasty (25-220 CE). Laozi is the pinyin Romanization for the Chinese characters which mean "Old Master." Laozi is also known as Lao Tan ("Old Tan") in early Chinese sources (see Romanization systems for Chinese terms). his is his favourite art too.It descripe a lot of details about "Lao zi".He is an old man and has a lot of kownleage.Every one respect the old man because of his kownleage.I felt very excited when I saw the artwork.It gives me a powerful feeling.It is easily to find that Lao zi is an very old man.So this great product was produced.This artwork is really true to life,he described the Lao zi very carefully,especially the face,the facial expression is really wonderful!His hand only show one finger.I felt the slaver wil flow out from his mouth.Because the statue was like the real person very much.I think that everyone wil appreaciate this artwork.
The exhibition have many other Mr.Wu's artworks.All very wonderful,the statues are really like the true things.
After this exhibition,I know more about sculpture,and this exhibiton made me have more interest on sculpture.
I like the statue.I like this exhibition.I hope I can visit more beautiful artworks in the future. Art comes from the life but it is more profound than the life.

The special dinner~~~

In the december 29,Kevin Oliver Maria Laurence Alex Abby Penny and I.We had dinner at a USA restaurant.The food of the USA is very special,there were 7 people in all,I like this feel,many people had dinner together,we were vary happy.The western food isn't like chinese food,the taste of food were strong.But I like this taste.I think the steak was hard.I couldn't eat it easliy.And the pork were spicy,I don't eat spicy,so I didn't eat the pork.The salad were sour,I like sour ,so I ate mang salad.The American pork steak were very nice,the taste were nice.I like it,because it was the only food I ate.One thing I really want to say is that the American foods are too expensive.....After dinner we talk about together,we talked about the dinner .The students from grade 12 told us some things about the manager of having American dinner.It's so interesting.
